Halo Infinite: The Repository
MY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Responsible for the Level Design work for the Repository. This includes:
Blocking in Geometry (block out phase) and iteration on player flow/pathing
Documenting and pitching level beats (Narrative Moments, Objectives, Combat Encounters etc.)
Level Scripting to stand up encounters, level streaming, checkpoints, etc.
Cover placements (Line of Sight blockers) as well as weapon pick ups/placements
Worked closely with Art on new objects required for the level experience
Worked very closely with Narrative on this level, there were a lot of Narrative beats to hit
Worked within constraints of re-using rooms as much as possible while still creating a unique and fun experience
Top Down Layout
Level flow and room documentation/listing. This was mainly done for adjacent team visibility so we know which room are being reused and needed variations etc.
